Nat Comisar

Nat was five years old when in 1963 his mother taught him to sing harmony to “Angry” by the Lennon Sisters. So began a lifelong love of a cappella. In high school when there was no vocal group, he created one. In 1974 he became a member of the Southern Gateway Chorus, the newly crowned World Champion Barbershop Chorus. In 1977 he joined the Cayuga’s Waiters of Cornell University, eventually becoming group leader and singing with them across North America and the Caribbean.

Nat has performed with Richie Furay, Jim Messina, Steve Winwood, Rodney Crowell, Kenny Loggins, Poco, Pure Prairie League, The Bobs More Old Men and many others.  His love of a cappella is undimmed as he is bass of the Roaring 20’s Barbershop Quartet.

Along the way Nat found time to help raise six wonderful children while he made a living washing dishes at a local French restaurant (a story for another day…)

Nat currently practices Real Estate as Executive Vice President of Sibcy Cline Realtors. He is also a co-founder of Hawaii Ranch Partners, a worldwide resort and hotel development company. He lives in Cincinnati with his wife Bridget… and the six children have all found other places to live.
